The Baeckerei B & B was born 15 years ago with three rooms. All featured a unique decor and personality. Over the years we were proud to be featured on radio and television, written about in travel magazines, cook books, metropolitan newspapers and on the internet. The Baeckerei became a destination for people from all over the US, Canada and Europe. Now we are moving into a new phase in our 1862 building. We have opened an art gallery and gift shop that will become an internet site selling to buyers froma round the world. Custom framing will also be a major part of our business. At the urging of our past guests, we are keeping one room available for old friends and new ones too. We now offer the option of a room without breakfast or with a breakfast served at the Ronneburg Restaurant. This "Amana Style Breakfast" features pancakes, eggs, ham, bacon, skillet potatoes, toast and fruit served family style. The Blue Room is $55.00 per night and the optional breakfast is $5.00 per guest. The Blue Room has a queen size bed, twin size sleeper sofa, private bath, color TV, cable and complimentary DVDs. We look forward to seeing you as a customer or a guest.
